Raccoon Tracks (Footprints)

Raccoon prints look a lot like tiny human footprints. They often can be found in the mud or sand around sources of food or along travel paths. Raccoons have five digits (fingers or toes) on every paw.

Their thumbs, while not fully opposable, are set back and jointed in such a way as to give them impressive dexterity. Raccoons are able to perform complex tasks such as untying knots, unscrewing jar lids, and unlocking fence latches.
